Sad day

It was weird this morning I woke up and had a feeling that something wasn't right and now I know why. It's okay mom. I know she's happy and this is part of the Lord's plan. I know she's happy!

Well I'm doing okay. Life has been pretty good. We picked up three new people this week!! Lettie and her two kids!! It was a really good lesson!!

We also had a lot of service this week helping a guy in our ward build a hawk house and moving people and all that fun stuff. Life here is still great.

The scratches are from the hawk house. The hole was in someone's back yard. It was huge. I created that picture of Frosty!! I honestly don’t know about the other photos, my brain is not working right.

I know this is not a lot but I can't really think 100% straight right now...

Anyway I love you!!!

(For those who don't know, we had to put Frosty down this morning and then had to break that news to Kodren, a prayer offered for him would be appreciated, he is quite torn up. I received the following email from his companion along with a number of the photos below: "Here are some more pictures. I know you already know this but he is taking the news about Frosty pretty hard. So just keep him in your prayers. He is a great missionary so I know he will get over it but it is going to be tough."-Elder Emry)

Trainer!

Hey Mom!

Life is so good right now!

I love my mission right now!

Training is going absolutely amazing Elder Emry is an awesome missionary! We are getting along really well!

We had some really great lessons this week with a couple of guys named Phil and Trevor.
And we also had an interesting lesson where the guy was very high and had some crazy ideas so it is very interesting but it's the fun of being on a mission.

Also its crazy that's its been a year that I have been on my mission. I miss my family so much!! But you guys are my motivation and help me in so many ways.

Yeah we are on bike. Cause we are low on miles.

Also, how's Frosty doing? I miss that dog! We have grown up together. She has been glued to my right leg through thick and thin for the last 16 years!

I've been studying doctrine and Covenants 138 and it is so absolutely amazing I love it!!! It helps with receiving strength from both sides of the veil!

The Lord is looking out for you! I love you so much!

(This is a note I got, along with pictures, from Kodren’s companion.)
This is Elder Emry your son's new companion. He is my trainer which I assume you already know but I just want you to know that he is an amazing man and a great teacher. I have a punch of pictures I'm gonna send you of him.

Let the training begin

Hey Mom!

So there is a lot happening over here in the Riverside Mission. I'm training right and my trainee is Elder Emry from Oregon. He is super awesome and he knows so much and has so much faith. Greenie fire is so real!!!

Also this week we had a baptism in my last ward Mario Segura. It was so amazing!!! It made me so happy!!

Also we have a new ward and we have no one to teach so we are starting from the ground up!

I'm loving my new assignment. It's scary, not gonna lie, but I'm excited. Yep, I love it. Just go forth with faith!!! It's pretty crazy! He looks to me for everything and that scares me a lot. But he came trained already. He knows a lot.

As for the pictures, yes, we have monkeys that hang from our roof, yes, that is Elder Lance and it was so great to run into him at Mario’s baptism, yes, that is my new companion wearing a tablecloth as a cape.

I just want to be a good missionary!!

I love you so much!!!

On the move

I loved conference, it was amazing. My favorite talk was the one by Elder Stevenson about the herd and being sheepdogs and helping the Lord’s sheep come back to the fold of God.

I'm so excited about 2 hour church. Because I love how it's going back to the family. Everything for us is going back to the family.

Also I'm getting transferred and will be training a brand new missionary and I am still a district leader. I will get my trainee on Wednesday. So that’s exciting. I'm a little scared but I'm excited!!!

I will let you know more soon!!!

Sorry I can't really talk this week. Because it's transfer prep day we are all over the place moving all over and everything. I'm so sorry!!!

Just know there will be more next week. And also I love you so very much!!!

And you will hear more from and about my companion. I love you so much!

I'm going to Temescal Valley, I'm still in Corona! I'm a little nervous about training but the Lord will help me do it.

I have not got the package yet

I love you!!!

(I have no idea what these photos are about since he didn't have time to type much this week, but they are fun nonetheless.)

Service and stuff

Happy birthday Mom!!!

I wish I could have been there! I miss you so much Mom!!! You are the best!!!

I’m sorry for all the stuff that is happening to so many people in our lives. I wish I could be there to help. All I want to do is help people be happy because I just want all people to be as happy as they cab. After I made the choice, yep it’s truly a choice, which WE have to make. It’s not just given right away! Just make the choice. I love being happy!!! I want all to be happy!!!

This week was awesome!!!

We had multi zone conference! And it was so spirit filled, it was absolutely amazing!!! The leaders and the missionaries we have in our mission are such incredible people and sons and daughters of a loving father in heaven. We are all sons and daughters of a loving father in heaven!!! And we talked about how we can get the youth involved and help the rising generation become engaged and fulfill the potential that they have!! It was a very good conference!!!

We also did so much service this week!

We put in about 30 hours of just service this week! It was so awesome!!!

We helped two people moved and one is an incredible family in our ward. We are sad to see them go! And we did all kinds of other service stuff, it was cool!

And we also have man we are teaching and who has been taught for a long time. He has been investigating for about 5 years and he is getting baptized in two week!!!!!!!!!!!!  We are so excited!!!

That's all love you lots!!!

(I have no idea what these photos mean, but he sent them so I am adding them.)
