I love being happy!!

Hey Mom!!

That sounds like a crazy but good week!

When did everyone decide to grow? It's kinda weirding me out a little bit. My brother is getting married; my sister is in a relationship. My baby sister is going to Homecoming!!!! What?!?!!

I don't like how fast time goes by!

But that's life!

As far as me, life is good as always. We had another lesson with the lady that we are teaching, Jackie. She is the one that we teach with her stepdaughter in Japan. It is so cool to see the power of technology is the Lord’s work. She is moving forward has a lot of great questions! It's awesome! I'm still feeling good about life. Some days are harder than others but it ain't too bad. I just still get the feeling of missing out on big family things while I'm away. That's the only thing that is really hard right now!

Also this week, we had stake conference. And there was a quote that I was told by the spirit that I should share it says,

"One day you will have to look back on this experience, without choice you will have to look back, so just make sure when you look back, you look back with a smile!"

So seek joy in all things!!! I love being happy!! Something crazy, I have almost been serving a year!!!! Crazy!!!!

So that's really all the news here. It's still hot, it's gonna be in the 90s all week. There is no such thing as seasons here there is just hot and hotter!

Enjoy the photos.

One of the pictures is me studying while on a ball on a chair, not sure why. Haha

One is what I eat at Wendy’s. Haha

One is my take on ministering. The anvil one.

The rest are just funny random things, haha

But hope all is well!!!

Love you!!!!

Few photos but a happy missionary

Wow! Exciting week for y'all!

I can’t believe how fast everyone is growing up it's not fair!

But I'm doing pretty good! This week was just kinda normal. Well no week is normal as a missionary!

We had another great lesson with a lady named Jackie. She is the one that has her stepdaughter Skype into the lesson from Japan. It’s still crazy to think about!

Also this week we had the chance to meet a former mission president from the Philippines who came and spoke to us. It was so good! He talked a lot about how our missions don't really end and how we need to really enjoy it! And have fun with it! Which I don't think I struggle with. The missionaries from our zone say I am a very exciting and enthusiastic person! Which you know I like to be happy! And yes I am very happy. Is it hard? Yes. Will it be hard? Yes. Life is hard but life will and can be easier with good cheer in our hearts! Haha mom, I am not messing with you, I am serious. Life is too short not to be happy!

Yep. Life is too short not to be happy! Always be happy!!!! There is a quote that says "life is to be enjoyed not just endured" so make the best of it!!

Also other news…we spoke in the singles ward yesterday! It was so much fun! I'm not gonna lie I kinda enjoy speaking in church. it's weird I know. But I spoke about the Sabbath and how I have seen it change my life and the lives of other! It went very very well!!

Sorry there aren't very many photos this week but here are a couple.

I hurt myself on a wood fence hanging a sign. Haha I know I am a klutz but I hurt myself doing everything. Haha that hasn't changed, I still hurt myself all the time.

The picture was drawn by our ward mission leader in the YSA ward. As for that tie photo, it’s just a funny looking tie haha.

And

Well I think that's all

Hope all is well!!

Love you!!!!!!!!!

Silly, silly photos

Mom! I love you with all my heart and nothing can change that!

Well there weren’t a lot of new things this week. We didn't meet with a lot of people. Everyone was out of town or sick so we didn't meet too much. But we did get to meet with a guy we are teaching named Bobby he is so awesome! We had been low in numbers at the church for a long time so we are trying to get him to the point that he wants to be baptized and search more for himself, but he does have a lot of desire to learn.

Also this week I was on exchanges with our zone leaders and I was with an Elder named Elder Moloney he is so awesome!! He loves baseball so we get along very well and I have served around him before so he's awesome! We had the chance to do some service we help unload a storage container then put everything back in so that was long hard and hot and sweaty but we got a workout and had a great time doing it!

I got your pictures and my suit, thanks. I think your hair is amazing! I like the light color I think it looks very good! Did you get a new car? How is it??? Can you send me a picture of the car?

So that was my week! Love you!!!

Pictures:

1 the place where I live has a lot of horses so they have buttons to cross the street so you don't have to get off your horse, hah!

2 me being goofy on a roof

3 Elder Moloney after we unloaded the storage container

4 me and my comp having fun on the roof

5 us being goofy in Walmart

6 a cool helmet I found at a members home

7 us making more fun pictures

8 a couple more fun ones!!!

Honestly most of these are just us having fun and being weird. (I know that the photo descriptions are not in order but that is the stupid blogger's fault and I am tired of trying to rearrange things.

Silly Service

SURPRISE!!!
Thanks to the wonderful gift of technology (never thought I would say that) you get to hear from me today!!!

The photos are all of the service I explain below and a huge spider I saw this morning, haha. I knew you would love the spider, Mom. The knee is what I did this morning playing baseball. It was so great to be back on a baseball diamond. It was worth the injury because I got a double play.

Life here is awesome! We are still working with a guy named Mario who has been looking at the church for a very long time but he is going to be baptized very soon! He is a great man!

We are also working with a woman named Jackie. She is the one who we are teaching with her stepdaughter, over Skype, who is serving a mission in Japan so its very cool. We didn't get to meet with her this week cause someone, meaning me, locked the keys in the car ha ha. That was fun. So the keys in the car was basically someone gave us eggs and we went to put them in the trunk of the car and I put the keys with the eggs and closed it. Then we had dinner with a member and then we called the vehicle guy for the mission and he came about an hour and a half later. While we waited we did some service for a member. We weeded their yard and horse trail so that was fun. It was annoying but fun, haha.

But other than that we don't have any other people right now. But luckily this last week the college campus next to us just opened up so we will be able to do more YSA work, yay!

Also this week, we did service of helping redo a reading garden and painting a shed for a school which turned into everyone making paint hands on my white t-shirt haha. It was awesome! I will send pictures!

But other than not much happened this week! I'm feeling pretty good! I miss my family and home more than anything and that's harder every day. It is the hardest thing for me because you guys and the gospel is all I got! But it's good and I'm doing okay. I love my family and the gospel and nothing or no one can take that away from me!

Hope all is well!

Love you!!!
