Thanksgiving week

Hey Mom!!!

Well life is pretty good! We had turkey bowl Thursday it was so fun! After we had thanks giving dinner at the browns home they are a nice family. He had a really nice remote controlled car that he let us drive and fly his drone. It was fun.

This week was full of meetings and all kinds of things stuff it was pretty fun!

I'm doing okay. I am doing good! It just has been a roller coaster of a ride!

This week not a lot happened! I'm just trying to grind through each day. I'm doing good. It's just not as good as it could be. But I'm still happy. I'm always happy. And I still feel the spirit.

I do miss home really bad during the holidays. And it's weird being halfway done with your mission cause it's like you had done so much but you still have so much to go. 

But I am having a great time. Like, don't get me wrong I am loving it and overall I am having the best time. I do love it! I just need to work harder.

Just going for all I can do!

Hey Mom!!!

So this week is transfer week and we got transfer calls and we are both staying in this ward!!! Yay! I'm very happy and blessed to be serving in this ward! I'm still a district leader. I've been a district leader for forever!!!

So have ya'll heard about light the world and all that stuff? What are y’all’s thoughts and plans for making all that fun and amazing stuff happen?

We are preparing in this area for all the changes coming in the new year and we are so amazed with all the guidance that we are getting from the Lord. 

We are working with some amazing people! The photos are just funny stuff o my companion and my zone!! Because it's a fun zone!!! 

Also holiday season so exciting! It's definitely hard to be away from home during this time of year because I miss my family so so much!! I'm so glad you are my mom!! But we are help helping others be together forever!!!

A couple of fun elders

Hi Sister Egbert, I have a few more pictures for you. Elder Egbert is doing good and we are out here trying to baptize nations.

Hey Mom!!!

I have been on my mission for almost 13 months!! Crazy.

This week was pretty good!!! We had a day that we spent the whole day finding so we went out and hung out on the streets all day long. We went on bike that day and it was super fun. 

It was kinda painful since my knee is real bad but it was well worth it. This stupid knee just always hurts, remember when I got kicked by that cow a couple of years ago? After that it has always hurt. But I will survive. We found a guy and got to do some service for him and then we taught him the restoration. And the Book of Mormon! So I'm doing okay. Life is good! Can't really complain.  

We also cover two wards we cover the normal ward and the mid singles adult ward. It is super fun to cover two wards we are at church from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. It's pretty fun!

Not gonna lie, life is hard some days. It's hard cause I'm half way done and I don't feel really like I'm as good as I need to be. But I am doing okay. Favorite scripture study recently has been in Doctrine and Covenants Section 1 because it's talking about the restoration and preparation for the Second Coming of Christ and also Doctrine and Covenants 138 talking about the spirit world. I love the scriptures!!!

Okay, I will explain The Leggings. We have members that work for LuLuRo the clothing company and they keep giving them to us and we use them for sports! It's fun! They are really comfy for sports haha. Members give us random stuff all the time. It's quite fun. Everyone says we are the most fun missionaries!!! And yes, I'm the biggest one in the zone!! Haha.

Yeah, so the story you told about the missionaries shoveling for your friend gave me chills. I like that story a lot. 

I miss my family so much!! And I miss snow and cold!!!

We are getting a lot of smoke but the fires are still a ways off from where we are so we are safe. Nothing to worry about here! But so much heartache over what is happening in this state.

But we are still trying to find more people to teach so we have faith to find!

Still loving life

Hey Mom!!!!

Well this week was good!! We had a kinda normal week! We did a lot of seeking with faith to go and find new people to teach. It is so much fun!

I also did exchanges with the elders in my district. I was with Elder Sato, who is an elder from Japan, he is so cool!

I really like being a district leader!!!

You get to know so many missionaries as a district leader!

I'm doing okay. I'm just trying to be the best missionary I can be as a trainer. I also love training, though.

We also had a Halloween party as a bunch of missionaries. 

I will send you pictures of our costumes, I'm a nervous dad who made my son wear a protective reflection suit.
