HEAT!!

Hey!! Yes, we did get the package and thank you so much that's perfect!!
Elder Victorino says thank you!
Tell the Miller family that I love them and that I am still praying for them.
How is the family doing? I bet it was awesome to see your extended family.

I miss my family more than anything!!! Family is the greatest gift we have except for the Atonement. But the family is amazing. I miss my family so much. Mom, I love you and thank you for doing the right things in raising me even when I was tough. You and Dad did so much for me and you are the best parents ever. Tell Dad that I love you guys so much. My family is my motivation!

The word for the week is HOT!!!! Here is the description of the photos:

This week was really hot. Yeah, the heat is bad and I really like the cold and I haven’t felt cold in almost 9 months. But our mission president does a lot for us, he does a very good job to make sure we are good and safe all the time. Yes, I drink at least five water bottles a day. Friday it was 119 degrees outside so it was really hard to go out and work but we want to share the gospel so we went out anyway. It was really hot and I don't think I have ever sweated so much in my life. It was gross but we are trying to put in the effort so we can see the miracles that we are always praying for. Because like it says in the Book of Mormon, in Ether chapter 12:18, miracles come after the trial of our faith. So we went out and tried the best we could to find people to teach. So because it was so hot instead of just going out and street contacting people like we normally do we went tracting for almost three hours and it was really hot and really hard. We knocked on probably 15 houses before someone answered and then probably 35 houses before we found someone who said we could come back and meet with him and share a message with him. It was hard but the Lord is just trying our faith. It was fun. I'm weird, I actually enjoy tracting more than street contacting. Haha. A lot of missionaries think I'm crazy for thinking that but I just like to do weird things and be the odd man out I guess.

But other than that this week has been slow. We didn’t have any lessons this week at all. The guy David that we were teaching is no longer living there so we can't meet with him anymore, which is really sad. We want everyone to have the chance to have the gospel but all we can do is bring it to them and they have their choice to accept it or not. We just try to take the gospel to everyone. And our other people we are teaching are not getting back to us or are never home so that's always fun.

Something else I have learned on a mission is how important it is to remember the blessings you have in your life. I'm so grateful for all the blessings the Lord has given me. And something that I have learned that helps with getting rid of the evils in life is the importance of counting your blessings. This helps with getting rid of temptation and bad and negative thoughts. The Lord blesses each of us very, very much but we just have to remember how much he blesses us and it will help with all things in life. Through Christ we get peace. He is peace. There’s a song that says "when there’s no peace on earth there is peace in Christ". I totally believe that to be truth!

I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!
